about the nineteenth-century Can Descregut farmhouse was purchased in 1981 by Joaquim de Cara, establishing the winery in 1986. His daughter, Arantxa, completed her oenology degree in 2004, and her husband Marc Milá joined in 2010. In that time, the winery has moved to organic farming and more experimental winemaking. They joined Corpinnat in 2020.

Brut Nature 2023 ($24)

59% Xarel·lo, 18% Macabeu, 12% Parellada, 6% Xarel·lo Vermell (a black-coloured variant), and 5% Sumoll, from four vineyards planted at around 300m. Aged for 18 months. Very pleasant and approachable at a very affordable price.
