about Bodegas Bilbaínas, now owned by Cordoníu, were founded in 1904 and were one of the first producers to make sparkling wine in Rioja. Production has been revived, an indication that bubbles are finally being taken seriously within Rioja.

100% Garnacha, though it’s a Blanc de Noirs not a rosé. Aged for 24 months. A lovely, fresh, red fruit, herbal, floral nose. Crazy price.
