about Ehren Jordan has become a staple of Napa/Sonoma, it’s easy to forget how important his role is in making the regions’ wines more restrained and approachable. His focus has always been Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, though there is also a clear passion for Syrah. Sparkling wine has been made for some years, although it’s always been only available at the winery (a must visit in Napa). Now, the bubbles are being gently made more broadly accessible.

50/50 Chardonnay/Pinot Noir from the Bohan vineyard in Sonoma Coast. As the name suggests, just 2g/l dosage. Disgorged in 2022. Mature and sophisticated, fruiter than champagne but equally elegant and fine.
